My name is Sheila Williams. I am originally from Marion, IA and moved to Fort
Worth May, 2003. I started working in veterinarian practices in 1985 with large
and small animals and then later working with a limited amount of exotics.
I have worked in all the areas of a veterinarian hospital, however, I have
gained the most experience working with equine and critical care patients. The
time that I enjoyed the most was nursing some cougar cubs back to health.
I have an Associates Degree in Agri-Marketing and Equine Science Technology
with a recent Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice/General Business. I
have been actively involved with Arabian horses for about 15 years where I have
bred, trained, and showed them. I have worked at various Arabian breeding farms
as an Assistant Breeding manager and training farms prior to coming to Family
PetCare. I enjoy educating the clients and continuing to learn about veterinary
medicine.
At home, I have 2 cats, an Abyssinian and Bengal, and Shar Pei mix puppy that
I have been caring for since it was 2 days old. I do house/pet sitting and I
enjoy spending time with my loving young daughter who someday may become a
future veterinarian.
