Hi! My name is Dr. Cristina Jaramillo, and I am very excited to be the newest veterinarian here at Family PetCare!

I was born and raised in Colombia and moved to the USA in 2000.  I went to UT-Arlington and received my bachelors degree in Biology. I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in California.

After graduation, I have had a strong interest in small animal medicine, surgery, and reptiles.  I spent 9 months working at VCA. While there, I developed and sharpened my skills in small animal emergency and internal medicine. I always knew that eventually I wanted to work at a small animal private practice.

I currently live with my husband Mario, Pechan (our Yorkie), Kali (water turtle), and Ryu (a rubber boa snake). My hobbies include walking Pechan, gardening and camping (when it's not too hot).

I am very excited to be a new member of the Family PetCare team
